Meet David Pillinger
Loves USC football!
Is an avid reader of horror and fantasy novels, and addicted to shows like
“the Office”.
Currently completing an internship where he acts as a 1st year
medical intern and cares for his own patients in the hospital.
Says his favorite class is pathology.
Hates restaurant style chopped onions but rarely meets a food he doesn’t
like.
Dreams of working as a doctor of ophthalmology or internal medicine.
“The University of South Carolina has made my dream of becoming a physician
possible by providing small, intimate classes with many opportunities to engage
one on one with the faculty. My professors have been highly motivating and
eager to push me to my limits as a student. During my three and a half years
as a med student I have been given multiple research and internship opportunities,
as well as scholarships to ease my educational debt. I look forward to the
day I will represent Carolina’s School of Medicine along with all of the
men and women who have graduated before me.”
